Please think about all the good times you had in Field Service, at the Meetings and Book Study closeness with our tight-knit family.

For all the good times I recall there was just as many bad memories. In the end after a bunch of missed prophecies from the WT and a lot of soul searching, I knew it was not the "TRUTH".

Please return before it's too late, Jehovah will bless you only by humbling yourself and rejoining the Flock of Jehovah!

Just more guilt from this organization of conditional love.

I am wonder to if the WT haven't hired an outside PR company to improve their image as some else pointed out on here that the present GB are not bright enough to figure this out themselves.

Since most of the GB has been replaced in the last 15 years, my guest would be the new blood on the GB. Before that it was run by a bunch of 80+ year old men. It has been discussed on here before that the GB are just figure heads and the real power is silent stock holders of the corporation. Others on here know how it is set up. Not sure if there is anyone in particular that has more say.

so i just watched the singing cart video.

i literally cannot describe how i felt watching that.. growing up as a jw was serious business.

we had to take the preaching work seriously, watch our conduct, give a good witness by our actions, and be on our best behaviour to ensure we made it through the great tribulation.. when i was a child, i had dreams of being a cartoonist.

It is like putting lip stick on a pig. No matter what they do to flower it up it is still la controlling cult. The WT realized that to keep the young ones in they have to make the message more entertaining.

"in lieu of flowers send money to the kingdom hall"..... wow.... this young woman's jw servant husband was caught cheating on her again with another jw "sister", but when she told her husband she wanted to forgive him again and continue with her marriage, he told her he didn't want that.

he wanted her to simply move on with her life.here is how she moved on: she put on her wedding dress, got into her car in the garage and started it.

do you think finding her this way spoke louder than any suicide note?

So they refuse to bury her but are happy to pocket the money. Unbelievable.

They will conduct the service but it can't be at the Kingdum Hall. Still her contribution went toward building the KH but she is not good enough to have her memorial service held there.

Have JW relatives disinherited you? (especially Canadian)

interesting court case whereby the entire will was declared void because the father was racist.. would that not also apply to jw's who disinherit their non-jw family?.

I knew of a case here locally that the mother gave all her money to the WT because her children were not good dubs. All that did was sour the children even more against the WT. I think this could be challenged if there was no money left to the children. I have to say my parents were fair and the inheritance was equally split between all of their children dubs and non dubs.
